How is the pilot ep. of The falcon and the winter Soldier? REVIEW.
*SPOILER FREE REVIEW*
Marvel just dropped the first episode of the falcon and the winter Soldier today on Disney+ hotstar.Starring Anthony Mackie as the falcon and the infamous winter Soldier as Sebastian stan. Directed by kari skogland who is aslo a executive producer and writtern by Malcolm spellman. And let's hop into the review.
Primo. Let's talk about the good stuff. Marvels really doing a fab job in utilising the talents globally and this time it's a Canadian film director and her previous projects such as fifty dead men walking(2008), zebra lounge. Etc. Which are pretty decent. And next up man the sound mix perfectly synchronised with the cinematography, it's pure roller coaster ride during the falcon flying though the dead canyons and gliding through missiles. In better terms this is clearly a lot better than the previous marvel Disney+ project wandavison which was good but didn't meet up to the expectations. It's good, like the actors nailed it special mention to Elizabeth Olsen and Paul bettany respective of their performance. But I have high expectations for this one if things turn out as good, it's gonna be one of the prominent projects that marvel did.
This episode deals with the post blip events of the MCU and what the hero's are doing to cure the 5 year vansihing hangover. Where the events of TFATWS takes place six months away from the heart wrenching Avengers: endgame. It's starts with the falcon getting ready to submit the shield to the Smithsonian museum where we've seen it previously in the captain America: the first Avenger and captain America: the winter Soldier. And falcon has been working with the air force to work in air missions. And Buckys been ignoring all his messages and having nightmares about hydra and episode more or less sums up what the heroes has been going thought in their lives which is a really hard time for them. We get to see the falcons family for the first time which is a really refreshing reunion. And his parents legacy which is kinda emotional. The episode didn't really address clearly what happens to our cap. Whenever his topics on the table words such as 'gone', and 'miss him' come up and even a dialogue, he's 'watching from the moon'. So we really have to wait for it to be official about what happens to captain America.
It's just a pilot and gives us a view what's TFATWAS is going to be. The episodes ending is gonna leave you with an expression of 'who-the-fuck?'. Cuz that's what I had.
This episode definitely isnt a banger but they're just laying the groundwork now I can't wait to see what's this gonna be in the upcoming episodes and I just wanna know who the real villian is as im a genuine fan of Daniel brühl I wanna see what this baddies gonna do.( I was just jk around when I said I don't know who the real villain of this show is.
